EmbryoGlue is a tissue adhesive medium that helps to attach the embryo to the uterus wall and increases the chances of a successful pregnancy. It mimics the environment in the womb during natural implantation of the embryo.
EmbryoGlue contains a high content of hyaluronan that “glues” the embryo to the uterine wall. It also minimizes the unwanted movement of the embryo, and carbohydrates and amino acids present in the medium support the embryo during transfer and fixation to the endometrium.
Research has confirmed that embryo transfers are more successful when there is an elevated level of hyaluronan. Various studies have reported that it increases the success rates in IVF-ET by 11.2%
